Our Origins
The story begins over twenty years ago, when Ekstra emerged as an artist performing in the underground world of graffiti and hip-hop. His art expressed rebellion, rhythm, and individuality — values that would later define his fashion philosophy.
In the last decade, his focus evolved from the walls of cities to the fabric of creation. Coming from a Sicilian family atelier, where tailoring was both heritage and language, Ekstra transformed his artistic vision into wearable art. The foundation remained the same — authenticity, raw talent, and devotion to craft — but the medium became fabric instead of paint.
It was in Africa that Ekstra’s creative journey took a new dimension. Working closely with African models and local artisans, he launched his first Fashion Week collection there — a fusion of Italian precision, Sicilian heritage, and African energy.
